SRC Rules

 

Please remember safety is our primary concern.  Please render any necessary aid/service and/or contact Tournament Control immediately if further service is required.

Fishing Hours - 6:00 AM- until such time you can reach the weigh-in line by 5 p.m.

Fishing methods include rod and reel or canepoleNo traps, snares, setlines, or jug lines will be allowed.

ALL registered boats/anglers must check-in at one of the monitored boat ramps or with the Tournament Site after fishing has stopped to verify all anglers are safe and accounted for.

Qualifying fish include striped bass, catfish (any species), largemouth bass,and panfish
(redbreast, crappie, bream or shellcracker).

Weigh-in will open at 3:00 PM.  Anglers must be in the weigh-in line at the tournament site by 5:00 PM.

Prizes will be awarded for the largest game fish, the largest fish of each category, the
highest aggregate weight of three (3) qualifying fish of different categories. For youth
anglers, prizes will be awarded for the largest fish for each of the four (4) categories .

The undersigned hereby assumes all risks incident to fishing, boating and/or attending the 2009 Savannah River Classic (SRC) on the property owned or leased by Savannah River Classic Committee (SRCC), Lower Savannah River Alliance (LSRA), Boys and Girls Club of Allendale County (BGCA) and Allendale County (AC), and, in consideration of the premises, hereby waives any and all claims which he might hereinafter have against SRCC, LSRA, BGCA, AC or any of its officers, directors, agents or members by reason of any injury sustained by him while fishing, boating, and/or attending or otherwise using said property as a guest. Further, the undersigned, in consideration of his invitation to participate in said tournament, hereby covenants and agrees to indemnify SRCC, LSRA, BGCA, AC and its officers and directors, jointly and severally, from and against any and all liability, damage, or expense incurred on account of any injury inflicted or caused by the undersigned upon said property, whether leased or owned by SRCC, LSRA, BGCA, AC, or its other guests or their property while on said property. Additionally, by signing this document, the undersigned acknowledges that he has read, understands and accepts the above Rules promulgated by SRCC and agrees that ALL decisions of the SRCC are final and binding.

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SIGN A COPY OF THESE RULES AND AGREEMENTS AT THE EVENT.

    6:00 a.m.
    - Lines In—Begin Fishing

    3:00 p.m.
    - Weigh-in Begins
    - You must be in line for weigh-in by 5:00 p.m. to qualify for prizes.

    6:00 p.m.
    - Prize ceremony
