Savannah Riverkeeper will be holding a 2-day boat trip in March and April for local students of all ages that are interested in learning about a side of Science that they will never experience in a classroom. Only 40 spots will be filled so reserve your student's seat today! Cost is only $75/student and limited full and partial scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

Description: The Savannah River is the lifeblood of the communities and businesses in and around the CSRA, and the increased amount of interbasin transfers will not only threaten our economy but will also risk the livelihood of the wildlife. Urge Gov. Perdue and the Georgia General Assembly to adopt, during the 2010 legislative session, laws requiring Georgia’s Environmental Protection Division to require any current and future interbasin transfers of water to be done in a manner that protects our natural resources and our economic future.
