3 years ago, the city of Augusta asked us to bring back the old Raft Race that was so popular back in the 80's and 90's. And since we are always looking to be involved in anything that brings people out to the River, we happily obliged with our city's request and Paddlefest was born!
The main areas of focus for the event are to:
- 2. Promote paddle sports
- 3. Promote team raft building skills
- 4. Involve the CSRA community members in fun river activities
- 5. Encourage and involve our youth in an alternative meaningful recreational activity/sport
1. Online: Open until August 27, 2009 @ 11:59 pm EDT

- Pre-registration price of $35/person
2. At the SRK office: August 28, 2009 - 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT
- Pre-registration and pick up packets
3. Day of Event: August 29, 2009 - 7:00 am - 9:00 am EDT
- Kayak/Canoe Race Registration: Savannah Rapids Pavilion
- Raft Competition Registration: North Augusta Boat Landing
- Packets can be picked up at registration locations above
