Periodic trainings are offered in the Savannah River basin to help volunteers evaluate construction sites for best management practices and to educate them in the appropriate mechanisms for minimizing the sediment exiting the sites.
More detailed trainings are also offered to builders and developers. For details on the program go to getthedirtout.org or to learn more about SRK's training schedules contact Frank Carl (frankcarl@knology.net, 706-364-5253) or keep looking out for new dates posted on savannahriverkeeper.org |
