Paddlefest
Paddlefest is the CSRA’s original paddle event on the Savannah River, featuring canoe, kayak and SUP races and the opportunity for a recreational paddle with new friends. Celebrating the peak of the paddle season, our 6-mile course crosses the shoals past islands and incredible wildlife, and includes a top-notch safety team to guide you.

The Big Float
This event is a fun, family-friendly float down a flat water route. We encourage kayaks, canoes, SUP’s, rafts and inner tubes to kick back and go with the flow.  It also includes the local favorite Homemade Raft Competition, and post-float party with live music and local vendors. Fun for river rats of all levels!

Cleanup Program
We hold monthly clean ups around the CSRA, with over 19 tons of debris and trash removed from the Savannah River Basin.  We also participate in Rivers Alive a statewide initiative that brings volunteers together for cleanup events. In addition to many smaller neighborhood and waterway projects throughout the year, we host a large-scale cleanup every fall at Lake Olmstead in Augusta, GA. Our teams remove thousands of pounds of trash from our communities.

Roast on the River

Our primary fundraiser and hugely popular riverfront oyster roast! We hold 2 Roasts: one in Savannah, GA and one in Augusta, GA. Both boast a menu of fresh local seafood, famous chili, and ice cold beers, plus waterfront views, live music and amazing raffle prizes and games.

Paddle Series
Featuring outings on various locations of the Savannah River,  our paddle series offers guided, fun and educational tours to introduce paddlers of all levels to new and under-explored portions of our watershed. Open to canoes, kayaks and standup paddleboards.
